About Teresa:

Teresa Porter was born and raised in Gilbert, Arizona. She's a dedicated wife, mother, and business owner who turned her dreams into reality. Teresa has worked in the health and fitness industry for over two decades as a massage therapist, yoga instructor, and emotional release practitioner. Teresa's passion for yoga began in 1999 when she decided to take a couple of classes to alleviate the tension in her body from her job as a massage therapist. Yoga made her feel relaxed, lighter, and less tense. She loved the methodology of the practice.

After the birth of her first daughter, she had severe back problems. MRIs and doctors could not provide either a diagnosis or a solution. She sought answers and decided to create her healing path, including yoga. She was amazed by the relief she felt in her back by combining yoga with other modalities.

Teresa lives and breathes yoga because it has been a lifesaver for times that have been too dark to walk through. She has seen firsthand how negative trapped emotions and lack of self-care contribute to health issues, inspiring her teaching style. She firmly believes in teaching her students that what you learn within the four corners of your mat can and will transform you in everyday life! Her expertise will take you on a journey of self-awareness and how to use yoga to reset your mind, body, and spirit.

Teresa's love and dedication to the craft make her a maverick in the industry. She's been on ABC15, Sonoran Living Live, iHeart radio, MIX 96.9, and several other platforms, spotlighting her skills and expertise live. She has been honored to work with high school sports teams, the NFL, business executives, and everyone seeking to create life-changing results!
